Default Found out something cool today

So, I was screwing around over on Cz28.com earlier and looking through some threads. I found this f-body.org gear calculator site: http://www.f-body.org/gears/. So, I tried it out. I put just stock geared (3.42) 94-97 M6 Fbody and looked at the mph at different rpms. I though, that didn't seem right for my car. So, I put in 3.73's and recalculated it. That seemed a little closer. So, I went outside and decided to test it out in my car. In 2nd gear, at 2000rpm, I was at approx. 22mph, and at 5700rpm, I was at approx. 65mph. According to the calculator, at those rpm's in 2nd, a 94-97 M6 Fbody, with 3.73's, would be at 23mph and 66mph. So, I came to the conclusion that I have 3.73's. Not really that big of a difference from the stock 3.42's, but still a nice little surprise. I don't think the guy I bought it from knew, either. Otherwise, he would've had it listed as a mod on his cardomain page and for sale ads.

lol. It would. But, I never planned to go with 3.73's, since it wouldn't make that big of a difference from the 3.42's. I am, however, thinking about 4.10's sometime in the future.

I could've linked you that :\ I've had it bookmarked for quite awhile. It's very slick, and if you enter another ratio, it adds it below to the right so you can scroll through and compare.

I'll try and save you some other threads LOL
