Default Heads for Turbo app.

Hey guys, sorry for so many question...But I was wondering if the heads I have are gonna really hinder turbo potential. I still have the stock LS1 heads but they have been ported 11 cfm over stock(not much). This STS kit has already broke me and I'm kinda low on funds but I think I can scrounge up enough for heads but which would be good for my situation?

If wasn't going to run pretty high boost like 15 to 18psi on my setup would have bought some patriot heads..like stage 3 72cc ones. They seem very reasonable. If was more into staying with stock 346 size engine would have went with afr 205 heads. Since went to 408 went with afr 225 heads. Wanted thicker deck for higher boost also, helps with blowing head gaskets.

Better flowing heads should let you make more power at less boost than your stockers.
How much extra power they give in addition well..turbos seem to compensate a lot for head and cam and intake manifold shortcomings compared to NA engines.

not really necessary you can run up to 8 lbs of boost on stock compression and you will have better power out of boost running factory compression.
