With your car, I wouldn't even dream of doing it myself.. Save yourself some MAJOR headaches, and get it done professionally!

dude, put that car in the garage, and wipe it with a diaper. it's not worth tearing up. if you absolutely have to do that, buy another set of heads and keep the old ones. o/e equipped 35th cars are going to be worth a ton of money in a few years.

aside fromt that, it does take a little bit of know-how to port heads. it's not just a jump in and start grinding away. i've done it myself before, in my garage, but, i woudlnt reccomend it if you dont know what you're doing. you'll see more gains with a simple cam swap anyway. my reasoning was that, i didnt have the extra 2500 for a set of heads, and i did have quite a bit of time, a die grinder, air compressor and a set of stock heads. if you must, do your homework first and talk to people that have done this before. i'll be the first to say it's very easy to ruin a set of heads if you dont know what your doing.

i wasnt trying to bash you or anything, just lookin out for your best interest. it is possible to do, just not easy. like i mentioned, get a practice set of junk heads and go to town. then when you think your ready, use a seperate good set of heads and port away. ;D
