Default Water Pump Difference

What exactly is the difference between the truck WP and Fbody pump besides the upper radiator hose inlet location?

I'm tying to see if I can make an use an Fbody pump with truck accessories and vise versa.

The truck water pump pulley sits about 3/4" further forward than the f-body pump.

No doubt, you would have to trade out the truck's alt/power bracket, tensioner, and balancer for the F-body parts to make it all work correctly.

I installed an F-body pump on a truck engine. You have to put spacers, behind the water pump, to bring it inline with the truck accesories. I had my spacers made by Speartech.
You also may have to modify an Fbody tensioner to fit as well. I used the truck tensioner and removed about 1/2" from the standoffs.
Eventually, I went back to the truck pump since later mods to the engine didnt require the clearance around the water outlet.
