From PA in Southern MD. Good 2 be here! I'm originally from Aristes, PA above the Centralia minefire if you know where that's at. Left there for the military in '96 and now I'm in Southern Maryland as a civilian contractor. I'm in the process of purchasing an '01 M6 Z28 from another member of the site. I'll have plenty of questions and have already compiled a list of parts that I'm buying.
I was a Chevy guy for years having A and G body cars. Then came three 5.0 Mustangs and now it's time to get back to GM. I have an 02 Z71 as my parts getter. Just a K&N FIPK, built tranny, aftermarket TruTrac rear, and Borla catback. Still smokes non V-tec Integras.
Anybody recommend a good shop for work and dyno tuning in MD or surrounding DC? I'll look at the Z in PA this weekend and should have it by the following. I plan on Edelbrock Performer RPM heads, Comp cam, and maybe try the new Weind (sp?) intake. Thanks all, it's nice to have a like minded community to help one another. - Joe

Down in So-Mar Nice to hear from you! I'm in Valley Lee in Saint Mary's. It's off of route 5. Where in Calvert are you? My co-worker lives past the Calvert Cliffs on the left. His son drives a black turbo Civic. Thankfully, his son works at an Auto parts store and can give the DEEP discount.
Going to any events at MIR? I never miss import vs domestic. Got a 7 month old girl and you can gaurantee she'll be at the track with mommy and I.

My mom bought my dad one like yours for father's day 2001. It was a nice little car. Definitely turned heads. Will join the MD F-body forum soon but gotta give up the computer so the wife can research stuff. Take care!

Towson.. A friend of mine played linebacker for Towson. He got into a bar fight at Fells Point and put a kid in the hospital. Now he's a Christian missionary. Life's funny like that. I'll be joining the Maryland F-body association today. I'm just getting warmed up this morning and gotta get to work.
