Default anybody done a cam swap?

When you did did you degree the cam in? How do you do this without taking the cylinder head off? Is it even possible? Also if you have changed your ls1 valve springs to ls6 springs did you have to shim them at all?

Most vender cams you install dot to dot. You do not have to shim the springs at all.
I would search in the internal section. Take a look at ls1howto.com Thats what I used.

For a cam swp like AB said many cams already are set so all you need is to align the dots and your good to go. Im not sure about the LS6 springs, but when i installed my MS3 i used PRC dual valvesprings from TSP and they went in with no problem.
