Default Optispark question

MY LT1 has two cylinders that are dead and one that is dead sometimes. All three of the cylinders that are dead are on the same side of the motor. The other side is working fine. They all have fuel, spark, and compression. So the only thing I can think of is fuel delivery timing or ignition timing or both. My question is: Is it possible that the optical sensor could be causing injector timing issues or being that there is a fuel delivery timing issue would that mean that the ignition timing is also off. I am having problems figuring this out. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

How old are your plugs and wires, are they in good shape?
