IMO I'd go with AFR or TFS over the dart.

should give you good power...

but if the budget allows...there are better choices.

smaller runner will boost your low and mid range power.

have you looked at the 200cc terminators? cheaper than AFR/TFS but still very good flow.

The 225 dart is a nice choice. I ran the 205s for a while, but tell everyone to get the 225s. You do not seem to lose anything on the low side with the Dart 225s vs the Dart 205s.

^^^^^Agree, the 225cc is a great choice. You can use one of three head gaskets, in no particular order:

1. Fel-Pro 1161L and 1161R (4.100" bore, .053" thick, MLS)
2. GM 6.0L 12589227 (4.039" bore, .053" thick, MLS)
3. Cometic H1518SP1040S (4.100" bore, .040" thick, MLS)

Static Compression ratios with the above gaskets:

Assumptions:
a. Stock bore, stroke LS1
b. Pistons .007" ABOVE the deck
c. 62cc Dart combustion chambers
d. Flat top pistons (no valve reliefs)

1. 10.75:1, .046" quench
2. 10.8:1, .046" quench
3. 11.15:1, .033" quench
