SBC balancer/pulley work on LT1??
Is it Possible to use a old school SBC balancer and pulley with the lt1?? i know i have seen it done on here... I have relocated the alternator but the balancer hits the opti... of course. I thought i had seen how a few people have converted to the old school V-belt on the alternator and crank pulley.. Thanks with any helpful info.. I already have the balancer and pulley so i am trying to make it work

All LTX engines use a damper, not a balancer. That means LTX engines are "internally" balanced on the front of the crank. Therefore, they "do not" use a harmonic balancer.
Although, factory LTXs are "externally" balanced on the rear and require a counter-weight on the flywheel or flexplate. That being said, most LTX rebuilds (strokers) are internally rear balanced.
