Default few questions on installation of weld in boxed BMR SFCs

I will be using jack stands as I don't have a lift available. does the weight need to be on the suspension when installing the subframe connectors? Where should the jack stands be placed under the car? Is it best to back the rear tires up on ramps? and place the front of the car on jack stands?

While welding you must have the vehicles suspension loaded and level. I recommend to place the jack stands under the front A-Arms and under the rear end, this will act as a loaded suspension. Or if you have ramps drive the car up on and place the jack stands under the rear end. But for installing the item before welding you can do it which ever way you find easiest, just follow the above steps before welding.

Hope that helps

I have the SLP bolt on type and the local muffler shop installed them for $25, can't beat that! Yes the suspension needs to be loaded.
