What Rebuild Kit to get for my T-56.
Ok so I was looking on thegearbox.org for some rebuild kits they offer 4 or 5 for the t-56. First let me tell you what condition mine is in. Ok to start off sometimes it is hard to get into any gear but, 3rd gear is completely out 4th gear grinds and sometimes it pops out of reverse and 1st gear. The rebuild kits go from a basic kit for 178.00 to a Premium master overhaul kit for 435.00. I am def. gonna get the 3-4 steel fork and bronze keys and sliders just to beef it up a little more. but if anyone could take a look on the website and see what kit 0f the 4 I should go with that would help me out a lot.
Thanks, JOHN

I recommend all the upgrades you can get IMO. Call six speeds inc though & give them a try they are more than helpfull on recommendations.

I ended up sheering the keyway, so I went through the whole thing. In addition I added the viper output shaft. Bronze pads, billet keyways, syncros, all new bearings. I needed a new 3rd and 5th gear. I would go with the standard gears as hardend gears are big$$$.
Amber was very helpful for all of this.
