Default cross member

Hey guys im in the middle of doing a A4 to M6 swap and wondering if the A4 cross member will work because i have the T 56 tranny mount just not the cross member it attaches to Help please

good question.. they look much the same, but i've never compared. you can call the dealer and give them your VIN and also the VIN of the car that donated the tranny.

In researching this same swap I have heard it is needed but I haven't personally verified it yet.

The crossmembers are different, you need the M6 version.

Yes ^^^^^^^^^^ You have to get the cross member for the T56, dont forget about the torque arm mount and exhaust mount that both bolt to the t56 eather.

Im getting to ready to do the swap myself too, let me know how it goes.
