Default My V6 Camaro

This is my 1999 V6 5 speed Camaro. I'm only 16 so this will have to do for now until I am a little older and get a V8 which is my dream right now. I got the car for $4000 90,000 miles on it. It had some minor body damage but not to bad. The only things I have done to it so far are the 17x9.5 and 17x11 ZR1 Black wheels, Halo headlights, flowmasters on it and thats about it since its only a V6. Here are some pictures.

Muddy day after football practice

All in all not a bad starter car. Has a few dings from previous owners but none from me. Also the clips from the RS body kit are going to come off just waiting for a warmer day

No not really. Age has nothing to do with it. There are guys that are 40 that are ricers. I talk to them all the time. "I had a Nova that ran 9's with a 350 with headers." Yeah, still a ricer I bet your 350 ran 9's. Since the beginning of time there have been jocks and there have been geeks, hot bitches, and some fat ones. But there's just as many kids into v8 muscle as there are rice.

BTW I bought a 2001 V6 when I was 16. I got it running high 13's on motor. Anyways have fun with your car.

Thats a great starter car!!! When I was 16 my parents bought me a 1996 Camaro V6 and it was a great car. At the time, I was thrilled with it (although I did occasionally grumble about it being a V6). Looking back though, I am glad I had the V6. It looked sweet and people liked it. Plus, I personally (although I didn't know it) wasn't ready for the V8 car. At that age, I would have killed myself if I had been allowed to have an LS1 car.

Its a great first car. Enjoy it, but be careful!

Nice car! I have to say, 17x11s are overkill for your car (I think it's overkill for my bolt-ons LS1), but I understand you like the looks, because I do too.

haha yeah the 17x11 are an overkill but when I get a little older I plan on getting a new 98-02 camaro with an LS1 and make the size worth it lol.

Great car. You can do a lot with the v6 cheap. They have some great turbo kits for them making sick power, More than my modded SS. Check out some of the v6 specific web sites. I always liked the RS body kit (actually "sport appearance package" $799 when new). I had one on my 98.

Thanks, And yeah my dad looked into the SAP body kit and we couldn't find any so my dad checked a GM catalog at his friends garage and the whole kit was like $2500 and i wasn't about to get any other body kit that makes it look like a ricer.

Junk yard would be your best bet on the S.A.P. Otherwise $$$.

Nice first f-body! I still miss my '96 3.8. Enjoy it!
