I would say NO! Too big of risk to take with an engine. Dual springs new are only $260, and 918s are what...$180, dont do it dude, its not worth turning your engine into a paper weight.

Used valve springs are a lot like used brides. Metal parts, like women, remember every stress that was ever placed upon them. It may not show on the outside, but when either reaches their limit, it's not pretty.

As for the springs, if you got a VERY good deal on a spring kit with Ti retainers, you might be able to buy new coils and come out ahead. Look into it.
