Default th400

what gears paired with a th400 are best for street use like highway driving would it be best to run a 3.23 please give your opinion or your setup i basiclly need your input to make my decision i dont want to be pulling 4000rpm on the highway

I'm also wondering this same thing. With the th350 I have 3.73's and they are way to much for the highway. Runs about 3000 at about 55 I believe. The th400 I just swapped in should be about the same and I should have it back on the street tonight to see what it runs at. I was thinking about changing to a set of 3.42's.

im going to be running 3.70 with the th400 and 26" tire. i will be about 3300 rpm at 65mph. my combo is more for the track, not mpg.

google fbody gear and it should bring up a chart program thing that will tell you
