H/C and setup questions
I have been looking at getting a H/C combo with proper trimmings.
The car I have is a 2000 Z28 auto w/23k on the ticker. STOCK
The package that I've been running over and over again in my head and have done numerous searches for info on here is as follows.
PRC LS6 Stg. 2.5 heads
cam 239/244 dur. .649/.609 lift 113 LSA very similar to MS4**
LS2 intake
Nick Williams 90mm TB
85mm MAF
Fast toys 85mm air lid
Stainless Steel Hooker 1 3/4
3300rpm Vigilante converter
3.73 gears
Racetronics 270 kit
**different dur. and lsa was told would perform better on the bottle
Reason I decided to go with the LS2 intake is because I have a n2o plate system that came off my TB SS when I got rid of it.
PLEASE tell me all the pros and cons to my desired setup. If there is anything, any one of you would do differently leave all your advice here.
Lastly....am I going to run into PTV clearance issues if I go with this setup and stock GM LS6 gaskets?
Thanks everyone for you time...! It is well appreciated.

I was told for that head set by quite a few people it probably be best to go with a larger cam due to the runner design of the LS6 heads.
What type of cams are others running with a similair setup?
What would work better for a 3300 stall speed?
Wishing now I just bought an M6 car....!

Well dont get discouraged, a properly stalled auto is just as nice and is usually preferred at the drag strip.
We really need to look at what you want to do with the car first. Are you going to be draging it all the time or are you looking for more of a weekend warrior setup?
Lets cover all the bases before we dive into heads and cams. We can do it in the this thread or you can pm me its up to you. TSP has some great pricing and is not a bad way to go, I will not try and influence you on who to buy from at all, I'll just make sure you know what your getting. I'm neutral, just here to help I dont sell heads or cams.
