My wife is looking at buying a car online and the seller wants her to do the money transfer with Global Payments Inc. Has anyone dealt with them before? I am kind of leary on doing this, it almost seems to good to be true. Any help is appreciated.

Rochester NY ISN'T A SMALL TOWN. So, why are you required to buy a car on line? Even if you knew nothing about cars wouldn't you like to see and drive a car before you buy it? And what is this vehicle you're buying?

There is no reason to pay using that method, vs cash/cashiers check

If your set on the car use www.escrow.com
Best way to buy anything online.
. you send the money to the company
.Co. verifies funds
.Co. tells seller to send the car
.you recieve car and have a 2 day inspection period
.you contact co. and tell them a. car is bogus I'll send the car back or b. car is great.
.They either release money to seller or wait to hear form the seller that you returned the car, then they send your money back to you.

yeah it was through global payment inc. I got a hold of them and they told me anything through craigslist claiming their company as the way to get it paid for is a scam. so we walked.
