'69 Firebird ideas
I think I've decided to build another '69 when I get home from Iraq later this year. I want to do the same thing again basically, T/A clone, LSX/6spd, black 4th Gen T/A interior. Any other suggestions? I had 17x9.5 and 18x10.5 silver Z06 wheels and 17x9.5 G2 World Challenge Wheels on my last one but didn't really care for the wheel spacers I had to use to run them. I never got the body work and interior finished before I had to sell it. Any suggestions on what to change/add for the next project?

Yea, this one will be M6 as well. My last one was originally a 350/4spd car..ran really good too. To me, old musclecars just have to have a manual tranny. I got my last one almost driveable, and had to sell it before it was road worthy. Made me sick to get rid of it . If my T56.com tranny crossmember had fit I'd have probably driven it down the road atleast. It had a 4.10 posi rear, so it'd have been a blast to drive Alteast now I've got experience in the swap and it should go alot smoother.

Yea, I've thought about that. Depends on what car I find and what all it's going to need. If I can afford to I'd like to swap out the front subframe. If not, I'll just throw on some good springs and swaybars and maybe update later if $$ allows for it.
