Default question with the caliper..

I'm putting new rotors on my car and ran into a problem. Ive replaced my pads before and I dont remember this being an issue but now I cant seem to get the bottom thru-bolt in on the caliper. I'm doing the fronts now and this bolt has 3 bearings where it slides in. I've lubed it and even tried forcing it in with vice grips. What am I missing? Thanks.

maybe cause the pads and rotors are a hair larger than what was on there since they were worn...you will have to play with it to get it to work..i did on my last ones

That would make sense but I compared these rotors to the old ones and the width is the exact same..everything is. This is starting to make me angry..lol
