Is autotap difficult to use?
Well I just ordered autotap from Tbyrne, thought the deal was too good to pass up. Anyway, I've never used it before, is it pretty self explainitory or is it difficult to use? Sorry for asking such an amatuer question. I ordered the Pro version, I can delete/check codes with this version correct? What all do I need to get started? Thanks everyone.

Re: Is autotap difficult to use?
I wouldn't say it is difficult to use but you need to understand what parameters you are logging and what the results mean.
You can read and delete codes with autotap per the instructions but I have never had any codes show up that I had to delete yet.
Here is a link to the autotap website that might be of some help if you have not been there yet:

Re: Is autotap difficult to use?
Is there a version of Autotap available for a 93 OBD1 transam. If not is there anything out there that can be used to monitor engine parameters. Thanks for any help you can offer.

Ease website with ODB1 scanner info.
I have only used EFILive and Autotap for ODBII cars so I can't comment on the Ease products and how they work.
