Default small block chevy crank question *please help

I have a crankshaft in my small block chevy that I am dissasembling. The numbers read F (which i believe stands for june) 3951. Every search that I have tried comes up 3951xxxx. Some say that people commonly refer to the crank by the first 4 digits, but this could mean that the crank is a 327 crank, or a 400. Could somebody please help me out on this? Thanks
