Default Better of the Two?

I didn't know where to post this so I figured here would be ok. I am wondering which would be the better or most effective mod to do? Upgrade the torque converter or put in gears? I have a 02 Camaro.

Definitely see more gain with a converter.

Better bang for the buck with a converter, you will definitely notice the gain. The gears will make the stall more drive able though, so that would be my next mod.
