Default Change clutch now or when it goes out?

98 TA all stock for now,
Going to mod heavily over the summer:
LS6 intake, port tb, headers, ory, heads, cam, nitirs, in this order.
Should I change the clutch first, or see how long it holds up with each new addition, and change it when it from abuse?

Plan on doing a spec stage 3 with a stock flywheel.

If you've got the cash to change it now, then do it.....otherwise run the stocker until it says uncle.

The only problem with running the stocker and that kind of power is that it's not going to last long and when it does take a crap, hopefully it won't happen during a high RPM shift and cause you to damage the transmission. Then you'll need a tranny rebuild, as well. I would do it at the same time as the other parts. If you're going with SPEC, you'll need to break it in anyways, so you might as well break everything in together since you can't beat on it right away.

That said, I'm curious to see how that SPEC 3 stands up to a H/C car with nitrous. Good luck with it.
