Default Buying 2004 GTO

And I know nothing about them. I know it's a 5.7, A4. It's purple, purple leather interior, gauges, etc. Buying it for my mother. 18k miles on the car. Any tips? She wants it to sound good, but not loud, and wants firmer shiftin, and a Cold Air Intake. Ideas?

Cold Air is not reall going to help but if she wants one you can do what I did, go to Hardcoreintake.com buy there kit and intall yourself. You will need a 4" hole saw from HD or Lowes and buy a filter from Oreilys or Pep Boys or any other auto parts. Look at Corsa Touring Exhaust, they sound great. If you want better shifting go get it tuned by a reputable tuner. Go to LS1gto.com and go to the regional sections and ask there.
