Default Swapping Intake?

Hello,

I want to know if anyone knows if I can swap a Vette, GTO, Camaro etc.. intake to a LR4 engine 4.8L gen III small block? Do these intakes have bigger throttle body openings and or better flow than the truck intakes? I have a BBK 80mm throttle body and it uses a "spacer" adapter to fit the intake. The BBK helps but I want better. Anyone? Thanks.

The LS6 intake will work and has a 75mm TB opening. You will prolly lose a little on the bottom and gain a little up top with the swap.

The LS1/6/X intake will not clear your stock truck accessories.

LS6 has a 75mm opening? Bummer I think my LR4 has same size. I put 80mm TB on it and it uses adapter to fit. No real gain there. Any of them come 80mm or better other than aftermarket? To see if it will make diff before possibly spending $$$$ on aftermarket. Truck accesories? Like cables and such?

The truck intake is just as good as an LS6 intake for truck use. Don't swap it. Check PerformanceTrucks.net for more info. They did a comparison.
