Default What should the Air Fuel ratio be?

I had my car dynod and sniffed at the same time with the juice on. With the suggested pills the AF was 13:1 to 14:1. I richened it up to 11:1 to 12:1. What AF should I be shooting for? It made 408 Actual RWHP at 11 and 12 to but it made 427 Actual RWHP when it was running 13 and 14 to one.

I prefer the fat side when it comes to nitrous, personally I would give up a few horsepower and shoot for 11.5:1-12.0:1.

I run about 13.0:1 on motor and around 12.1-12.3 on a 100 shot wet.

I wouldn't go to fat. One reason you give up big power the second reason you take a chance to experience what a fuel wash is and what it will do.

I'm not a big fan of O2 sensors used to tune a nitrous motor. Nitrous will cause a O2 sensor to read incorrect A/F ratios. Race gas will also kill a O2 sensor fast and cause a very fat O2 reading. Look at your spark plugs and if available try EGT temps on each cylinder for tunning. Also I would look for a starting point with my nitrous kit to be around a 5:1 N/F ratio.

Good Luck!

Yes, the put a sniffing device in the tail pipe on one side and the other side had nothing in it. Yes, my cats are factory. I am thinking the one on bank one might be poisoned now or I have a bad sensor. i am flaging a code that says something about bank one emmision not in limits or something to that effect. It happened after I got in a race on the I-10 interstate with a Toyota Supera. I used the juice on him and we went all the way up to 145mph. Screwed him up!!!! He didn't have a chance with me on the juice. So I think I did something to my cat or maybe a sensor. Should I do away with my cats and put in O2 sims in the rear? Would that hurt my fuel milage?

I go with 12.8:1 and jet the NX wet kit down one size on the fuel pill. NX seems to be rich as it is.
