I had never heard of these until i saw one on ebay this morning. needless to say i sent the guy an offer $200 less than his asking price and i got it. Now I am questioning if i just bought a total piece of ****. I gave $450 for the brand new LUK gold clutch kit with the aluminum LS1 flywheel all brand new in the package. Autozone has these for $650.

I did a search and found mixed thoughts about these clutches. Clutch will be going in my S10. its a mildly cam'd (228/232) motor with some head work probably right around 405rwhp.

Was this a waste of money? Will it hold up ok for a DD that might see the track 1-2times a year?

the pro gold is the same thing as the old ls6 zo6 clutch.

You bought an LS6 clutch with a lightweight flywheel. I wouldn't consider it an upgrade, but as long as you don't do heavy drag racing and launching, it should be fine.

I would say thats a fair price u paid. The Luk Gold with Aluminum flywheel is a Fidanza flywheel and LS6/Z06 clutch. Its a good deal if you don't have alot of power.
