Default Is this B.S. or what? concerning a stroker motor

i found this car on streetsourcemag.com
Here is the link

doesnt the stock sized bore with a 4.47" stroke sound odd?
ive never heard of anything over 4", but thats me and im not really good remembering numbers
arent most typical "427" motors a 4.125 or so bore, and a 4" stroke

well....4.47" stroke with a 3.9" bore would make 427CID but I don't see how it could fit in the block.....people say that to do a 4" crank they need clearance the block...so another .5" stroke....I don't see it working....

if it does fit....holy crap....thats a 486CI LS1 with 4.160" darton sleeves

he could of bought a 4.25 crank and offset ground it to a 1.8 acura bearing to get to 4.47 but i dont think that anyone makes stock lenght rods with this bearing. eather way, he is looking at a .9 compression height which doesn't leave much room for good rings and with the smaller bore and longer stroke, he would have to much valve shrouding for the cubes. i will call this eather BS or if it is true, a very bad idea and should of spent the money on an all bore engine.
