Default 117,000 mile ls1 head n cam build

Hey guys, here is the problem. I have a 2001 ls1 with 117,000 miles and I was thinking about doing a head and cam package. I have $5,000 to spend on parts. I was just wondering if the miles are to high on the engine to do the build ?

Any replys would be appreciated...

I just did heads/cam on mine at 105k. Heads, cam, oil pump, timing chain, lifters, pushrods and springs/retainers.
