over rev due to miss shift
Well i over revved my ls1 today and afterwards it stumbled for a second. Now it idles at 1000-1200 rpm's. The only thing i can figure is bent pushrods but valve train isnt that noisey. Any ideas?

You may have tagged a few valves and bent them as well....a leakdown would tell you that.
Do some digging under your valve covers for bent pushrods etc., then do a leakdown just to be sure all the valves are still straight. A bent valve will eventually break and that's not pretty.
Good luck,
Tony

Well i know a vacum leak didnt happen from an over rev.Besides it has a good bit of power loss. Id say about 30hp or so. I just pulled the drivers side valve cover and all the push rods were perfectly straight. So im going to pull the other side tommorrow when i get off work. I bounced off the rev limit going into 4th because my clutch stuck to the floor.

if it only hit the limiter id venture to say you didnt hurt anything. If you missed a shift and revved it over the limiter (like trying to shift 3-4 but you hit 3-2 by accident it would mechanically force the engine past the rpm limiter) then you probably bent some pushrods or valves.
