Car wont move after cam install...
1999 A4 LT's/ORY, TSP Torquer V2 112LSA
I just got finished with installing my TSP Torquer V2 on a 112LSA last night. When I first started it it idled by itself, but it was late and I had to turn it off cause of the neighbors...
Anyways, i went to try and drive tghe car just now. I started it up and let it idle for like 30 seconds, but the once I put it into gear it just dies, even if i hold the brake and gas a little I cant get it to move at all...
Is there anything I can do before I get it tuned??? I just want to drive the car...
Thanks

One thing I noticed with mine was that the car got better with every start up. The first few times, it would barely run, after about 5 minutes of that, it would cough but then fire. Then it would fire good. Like you i had neighbors. The first time I put some gas to it, it felt and sounded like the cam was 180 degrees off. I killed it, and fired it again and it reved up like normal.
I think what you may be experiencing is the PCM learning the cam.

Mine did it too last weekend after I put on the FAST90 and Nick Williams 90 throttle body. Had to 2 foot it to the gas station, died every time I put the clutch in. After filling up (and dying/restarting 10+ times to the gas station) it now runs fine. It's the PCM learning.
