what rear end girdle should i get?

what rear end girdle should i get? i was told a rear end girdle would help strengthen my 10 bolt. im just using it for the street and maybe a few strip runs. plus i like the fact they have drain plugs too. i was lookin at the TA girdle that tbyrne sells or summits version, the difference that i can see is summits is 35 bucks cheaper. is there any difference or should i just go the cheaper way. lol also anyone know any good sites that have real low prices on suspension/exhaust/induction parts?

Re: what rear end girdle should i get? The rear end girdle with stud kit adds strength to the carrier bearing caps which is said to strengthen the rear. The girdle looks cool too 
I would recommend the MAC girdle or the summit one. The TA girdle is almost identical. Can't imagine any advantage of one over the other, except maybe price.

Re: what rear end girdle should i get? Hmm i'm not familiar if the MAC or Summit have bearing cap preloaders, but I know T/A does. If they don't them T/A is better.

Summit covers DO have the bear cap preloaders!
When I bought mine I heard they were better because they didn't leak, where the TA did. Mine did not leak a bit for 12,000 miles! Looks brand new. If you need pictures email me. tyoder@grandecom.net

Re: what rear end girdle should i get? yeah i saw the summit one, and also the mac one. they both look good and everything comes with them but the mac one is about 130 and the summit one is about 140 but i will definately go with one of those 2. i guess whatever is on sale or has cheaper shipping will tell me which way to go lol
