Default a few questions concerning PR's, headgaskets, and lifters

ok so i have the following
patriot stage 2 (853 based) heads 2.02/1.57 w/ unmilled 67CC chamber
232/234 598/598 112 cam (f14)

would it be worth it to get a slightly thinner MLS headgasket to bump up compression

also will 7.45 PR's cure the sewing machine noise, or 7.425?

and will LS7 lifters suffice?

the 7.425 should help you out. I dont think Id move to the 7.450, especially i fyoure gonna run a thinner gasket. Yes, the thinner gasket will help you out quite a bit by bumping up compression, especially in the low end torque. Your off idle response should be much better. Trouble is finding a gasket that isnt overpriced. Also the LS7 lifters will be plenty. Even stock replacements would be fine.

.051 gm mls gasket seems to be my best bet!
