Default ls1 from 84 into my 86?

Here is my Dilema, so just hear me out.
ive got an 84 trans am and an 86 firebird.

the 84 trans am has the ls1, here is a quick list of what it has.....
02 ws6 trans am ls1 w/t56
02 radiator w/ fans
02 gas tank w/ lines
02 driveshaft
02 center console
slp loudmouth exhaust

tubular lower control arms
edelbrock panhard bar
edelbrock torque arm
eibach lower springs
kyb shocks/struts
wilwood 4 piston brakes
powertrax locker rear w/3.73
strut tower brace
subframe connectors

now the bad part..
the body has rust, one rear quarter is rotted out, the ttops leak and have rust up top, none of the body panels line up, and the transmission grinds going into second, also sometimes the clutch pedal sticks to the floor, and sometimes its hard to get into gears when making a high rpm shift, also when i let off the gas from accelerating i hear a kind of clunk, not sure what it is, something to do with the rear end or driveshaft, the clutch pedel could be a master cylinder, and the grinding? i dunno, the previous owner said it started doing that when he put the new rear end in.

My idea
My 86 firebird, Nice body , 5spd, 305, good paint.
how hard would it be to swap everything over to this car? engine trans, suspension and all?

Ill have to pull the ls1 out soon anyway, im doing a H/c, Intake, and lt's on it, and the heads wont come off the car while its in the engine bay, im also doing a ford 9" swap and a new clutch, so what am i looking at here? its going to take time for sure, but what problems could i run into, i mean the cars are almost the same, the 86 has an electirc speedo and the 84 was mechanical but was replaced with autometer electric gauges.

please help me someone!!!

Default

the 86

not like it matters that much but the 86 weighs 3150lbs with the iron 305.
