Default R&J Salvage in NY

Anyone here ever deal with R&J Salvage in Buffalo, NY? I won an Ebay auction for a 2002 LS1 for my FD RX7 and I was just wanted to run a reference as they will only take a wire transfer or bank check as payment. Everything seems kosher, they have really good feedback and they seem legit, it is just a lot of money to send out to the great abyss without some sort of reference.

here is the auction I won...

Sorry about thread location, I would have posted this in the classifieds or feedback section but for some reason it didn't allow me to post there.

Any help is very much appreciated!!

maybe try contacting some of the people that have posted feedback on the seller? I don't use ebay much, but there seems to be a way.

They do have a recent negative where it looks like they sold a phone or something and they're only defense was "sold as is with no knowledge of it".

I searched the feedback section and didn't come up with much. I haven't paid yet...it has been pretty tough finding quality pullouts in my area for some reason. I have been looking for a couple of months.

I did some research and they seem legit. I will update with my experience in total. I am gonna see if I can get a friend in the area to go look at the place.

Bought two engines from them one two years ago and one 4 months ago, tons of little fbod parts off them as well.. no problems whatsoever. I'm local and he dropped everything off for me, nothing bad to say about him whatsoever.

+1 for a v8 rx7 bud as well.

Thanks a TON! That eases my nerves a little!

If a moderator could move this to the feedback section (or similar) I will update it with my experience with them to aid people with similar questions in the future.

Excellent, we need more good salvage yards to pick from.
