Default NOS 5177 bottle heater thermostat

Has anyone else had problems with the thermostat that connects to the bottle heater. They are the 2 metal electrode looking things. I think mine were just junk b/c it kep shutting my heater off before the bottle would get up to pressure. I just removed them and now it works like a champ.

they're set for 85 degrees, which should be near 900 psi, if you go to the 95 degree stats, it will be near 1000-1050 psi. (much better)

But best thing to do is ditch them, and install a pressure fitting.

Ryan.

Pressure switch to turn it off and on?
Where do you get one of those? Brand...Part #?

That would be a ton better than that stupid thermostat!
