corvette zo6 ls6 engine in 98 ls1 trans am

can i install a 02 zog ls6 engine in my ls1 and just use my sensors and brackets. what is difference will i need a tune computer or harmess

the engine should not be a problem, you have to use a f-body oil pan of course.

I have a ls6 cam in my car and it runs fine untuned, had some problems at first but all is well now.

Youll do better to have it tuned. Although dont think of this as much of a performance upgrade. A mild heads and cam package on an LS1 shortblock will run circles around an LS6 all day long.
