Default anyone use thunder racing trak cam ???

I am looking for a good street cam I was told that the TR224 was the basic street cam I wanted a little bigger I was thinking the 230/236 or the TRAK cam is anyone running either of the two cams on a DD if so could you let me know the manners if i can run the TRAK cam all day id like to use that one but the 230/236 sounds more like what I am looking for

Also if anyone is running CARTEK 2x, or 3x cams let me know how they are on the street and what kinda power you are making

thanks

Post Consider this...

I have the TR230/224 111, street manners are... it drives stock w/tune. and its pretty decent on fuel, best of all it sounds nice and loppy, although i dont have a new dyno #'s yet, but before the cam and tune i was making 348hp/365tq with just LT's and ORY. i wanna say ill be pretty close the 400 range (i hope...) also i forgot to tell you that it has a great power band.

I have the torquer 3 which is basically the same specs as the TRAK cam. Great cam definately. Might wanna look into some headers and possibly different catback tho if your sig is up to date. I've got a mail tune on mine right now and it only bucks a little in low mph/higher gear situations, which are easy to avoid. Happy I went w/ this cam as my first one!

I'm running the Trak cam and it's actually a good street manners cam. Idle's kinda rough though. Got to take it back to the tuner cause it likes to die on me at stops. I wouldn't run it on a daily driver though since you'll be replacing springs every 12-15k miles and definitely get any supporting mods with it cause it'll be pointless to get a large cam like it and not be able to get it's full potential.
