Default whining noise

So 3 days ago I started hearing a whining noise coming from my car. I cant hear it when i accelerate but when i use my brakes or let off the gas it does it. I just had my oil changed the day it started but I cant tell if its coming from the front or rear. Is there anything that the oil could have caused? I changed it with synthetic oil. It was my first oil change and I am not sure what the previous owner used.
I have a 2002 t/a automatic.
