Low ET Poor times
Well I took the car to the track finally and man was I dissapointed. Ran a best of 13.9 @ 103 mph on street tires. Was bogging it off the line(spinning) and granny shifting to 2nd(more spinning and a little sideways action) and ***** to the wall from there. track was in poor shape but no excuse for these times. had around 2.1 to a 2.3 60' time. Will try to figure out how to get my time slip on this thing later on. It is a M6 99 SS bone stock except clutch and torque arm and K&N. Gotta figure what to do to improve this.

I am still on stock 10 bolt. Still thinking about getting a set and just go ahead and trash it. Give me an excuse to save up the money for something that will hold up to the abuse.

As mentioned above, a set of sticky tires usually brings a big help (or hurt to the 10-bolt!) in your learning experience. We all have to start somewhere and plenty of people have gotten decent times on the stock rubber. Just finding out what the track holds, what the car likes and you getting comfortable takes time. Cool part = making runs and having a good time!
Good luck and hope the e.t. s dop!
