Koni SA shocks for F-bodies
A well known performance shop in Decatur, IN has the Koni SA shocks for the following prices for 4th gen F-body's:
Koni 8241-1139 --> $224.95
Koni 8241-1140 --> $148.95
Total Cost = $747.80 + shipping
This seems like a pretty good price for 4th gen Konis. Can any sponsors on LS1Tech meet or beat this price?
My whole suspension is completely stock and I'm looking to fix the floaty feel that the stock shocks give.
Thanks.

That pricing is good, because it's old... I use to sell them for that price.... 3 price changes ago.
If you look around, you'll find my pricing (which is $880 for the same set) is very much inline with the current Koni pricing structure. Those prices haven't been updated in a long, long time. And Koni doesn't want any of it's vendors selling for more than 30% off retail, which is acutally less than Jobber price (and that's what I sell for). Being I'm already under Jobber, I can't get close and I'll admit it.
I think the price is a mistake or a game. I think the shocks are likely old, because if they were buying current stock they'd know that the price they are selling for isn't near correct.

Thanks, Sam. I think you are right. Actually, I just went to their website and looks like the prices have been raised between last night and this morning. Maybe someone saw this thread and contacted them. Now their total cost is $882 + shipping.
I found the same Koni 4th gen shocks at LM Performance for $819.95 + $25 for shipping. I wonder if this is up to date pricing??
Sam,
Do you sell 1LE endlinks and swaybar bushings? Can you PM me the cost for these Koni 4th gen shocks shipped to 46131?
Thanks.

In all honesty... I don't think it's my job to price check these other folks. I sell the shocks for $880. That's the current standard for 4th gen shocks @ 30% off retail. Well, actually the $882 is, I just hate odd numbers.
I can't afford to give shocks away, or to **** off Koni by slapping them in their faces and telling them, basically, to screw off I'll do what I want and don't care what they think. As for pricing. That's nowhere near the MAP Koni wants. I don't know if it's games, or if it's honest mistake.... I can't run my business based off of others mistakes.
And in the end, I offer something that others do not for the prices we sell for. That's a setup primer on installing and setting up the shocks. The Koni instructions, admittedly, suck big time. Anyone who gets shocks from me also gets an explanation about some details on install and setup. These are things that folks who don't have these shocks, and don't use the shocks generally don't know.
"1LE" links and bushings aren't anything special. I sell urethane replacement, they run just under $40 for the front links and mount bushings/brackets. The Koni 4/4's are $880 a set, 4/3's are $770 a set. Shipping is around $25 on those.

Thanks for the information, Sam! I am hoping Koni's alone would get rid of that floaty handling feeling. We'll see.
By the way, that was a rhetorical question in my previous post. I didn't expect for you to price match anyone.

I ordered them on the 11th, they sent me an email saying they wouldnt be in stock untill the end of the month. Pretty good deal though. $765.70 shipped with a $50.00 gift certificate. I hope they dont stiff me. I have the invoice right in front of me.

Thanks for understanding vtirocz. In this day and age of e-bay and shops that don't really have store fronts, just websites, pricing can be a challenge.... which is why I try so hard to pass along real world information, proven out with results.
