Default "2-way oil sensor connector"???

Hey all,

I was calling around the other day to confirm that I have the correct part numbers for my application (L92 engine, MY 2008), & was able to confirm everything but the wiring harness. The parts counter guy told me that there are two possible harnesses, from what he could see, the correct one for me depended upon whether or not my engine is equipped with a '2-way oil sensor connector'...

Is anyone here familiar with this/how can I tell?? (He wasn't able to tell me.)

Thanks in advance guys...

look at your oil pan, your either have a oil level sensor or you don't. There is a first design, early production, that states Gen III need the oil level sensor and a 2nd design that states that Gen IV does not need the oil level sensor.

Thanks 69LT1Bird, that does help. The truck pan doesn't have one, but the F-body pan that I got for the swap does. I'm guessing that it's optional, especially given the fact that I'll be using the truck harness & ECM.

Thanks again for the assist.
