New 00 camaro ss owner
Hello I just joined this site today, I am looking for advice on making my 2000 ss camaro track ready. I purchased this hardtop in Feb of this year. I got jipped, I let my greed get to me and ignored the whole salvaged title. Even though the car still rips em'. For me it's not really up to it's potential yet. Not to mention already spending what I paid for it to maintain it. I do not care it is my dream car and I'm hoping with the help of this website I will be able to restore and take this car back to it's top ranks like it should be. Feel free to give any advice, it is all appreciated. Thank You.

Went a couple hours from where i live to check out this car, guy wanted a little more than salvage is worth but i didn't mind afterall as long as the car checks out its just a title if your not ever going to part with it. The front end was replaced new bumper, hood, and passenger side fender. Didn't care much for the title liked the mileage on the ls1 for the price though. Didn't care took a chance what with wanting a camaro and all, besides i wasn't gonna ever part with it, and all i wanted was to get one so i can build it from the ground up anyways. Long story short ran into more problems then was lead to believe. Although expensive to repair. I only get ticked at the cost of repairs not the repairs themselves being that i have learned a shitload already from watching and helping replace starter, egr valve, belts, and what not I even replaced the window regulator and motor myself. So all in all it's got some bugs in it, sucks i gotta pay to fix them if i knew how to do the work i would do it myself. But live and learn. Wouldn't trade it out for any other car. Love to work on the car even though i'm not a mechanic yet.
