Default Glastek Hood too narrow!!!

Just got it back from the body shop. It looks awesome but the hood is somehow too narrow. The back corners hit the latches and I can't shut the hood. Did anyone else have this problem? I need some help here, quick.

Can you grind, shape, sand the side lip of the hood or better yet the hinge so the issue goes away? Better pics?

Could you slot the hinge where it bolts to the hood and/or put some washers between the fender and the hood hinge to push the hinge in towards the center of the car more to gain some clearance?

Glasstek stuff is usually very good. I have used their stuff before and the fitment has always been top notch. Maybe before modding the hood, call them on Tuesday and see if they have some advice. Is the hood painted yet?

Yah, the hood is fully painted. I bought it off of a person who said they had it on a car before. The hood already had brackets on it. Thanks for the ideas. I grinded the hinges so it doesn't hit anymore but the fitment still sucks. Gaps are huge and the top of the hood sits too high over the fenders. I'll get some better pics for you. Thanks for the suggestions.

Damn, you never paint a hood without test fitting. I had to grind the **** out of my hood.

Yah, I thought it would just be a direct fit cause the person I bought it from had it painted and ready to go. Its on there now just needs adjusting to fill the gaps on the sides. I don't know what to do about it sticking up past the fenders though.

it just needs adjusting, we have had several of their hoods and they all have fit great. soemtimes the bumpstops need a little adjustment to, if you still have them.

Do you have any side pics? Its hard to see how bad it is in the back from this angle.

the hood definately needs to be adjusted from what i can tell. on mine i had to grind a bit off around the hinges so that it would fit snugly and sit flush around the hinges. tory informed me that they always leave extra material so that all their hoods can be trimed for a perfect fit.

I'll try to get some side pics up soon of the side. I modified the hinge and there is nothing that I can see that is hitting on the hood anymore. The hinge just sits too high to let it be flush with the fender.
