Thumbs WAY UP for EFI Alchemy in JAX
Just moved from Hotlanta after I dropped my old 2:73 and replaced it with a 3:42 in my '98 Z 28 vert. Also installed Strano Springs, SFCs, and Big front and rear Strano sway bars. Called and spoke to Doc and Rick @ EFI Alchemy after gettin' to JAX and reading about them here. I needed them to install my new Hooker LTs and tune it. Dropped by to check out their new shop on Sunday, 5/17. Despite the fact that they weren't even moved in or open yet, Doc and Rick showed me around and then set up my tranny and speedo to match the new gears for FREE....!!
Brought the car in Friday before memorial day and they worked on it until about 9:30 PM so I could drive back to ATL over Memorial Day weekend. These guys are the REAL DEAL.
Here is what sets them apart:
1) Knowledge - No BS, status quo, parts sellin' goin' here. They only tune LS cars and they know what works PLUS they only do what they think is right for you and your car, not what everyone else says is right.
2) They are frugal with your money. No big dollar parts if GM makes it better and cheaper. Again, they are not part changers.... they actually think for a living.
3) Karma - Motor heads in business for other motor heads. No shuckin', no jivin', and no dissin' here. These folks are good people.
PS Hot Damn, my car is ALIVE~~! Like the ad says, when I turn it on, it returns the favor!!

As for the new Dyno, it will be here soon, that does not mean we do not have one at our disposal while we wait for the new one to arrive.
Carman, thank you for the props, your car was a fun one, and honestly probably the strongest stock 98 Car ive seen, and its a Vert to!

Well I'm kinda of a well umm broke now.
I need my car painted and hood done?
Rick: We have an excellent body shop right next door.
I need an exhaust for my 427.
Rick: We have a dude that can get it done the right way.
I need my tranny strengthened for more HP.
Rick: We have Mark that is great at what the tranny needs to handle all that HP.
I need some things finished up on my motor and car to get it running and all the potential out of it.
Rick: We can take care of it and do what it takes to make you happy.
They say don't spend it all in one place, but after the time I spent talking and watching them work I know my car is at the right place! I will let them post results when its ready (if they want). Gearheads all the way and I think my ride will be another awesome display of Doc's, Rick's, and Mark's work.
Mark: The valve covers just talk about the motor. My 76 TA had a BBC 402, the real 6.6. HAHA!
Thanks EFI ALCHEMY

I live an hour north of them in Brunswick , Ga . We don't have a local tuner so I have sent several of my pick up truck buddies to them for several projects. They don't just install parts and tune cars, they assist you in creating your own beast. All my budds give them high marks as well.

+1 For EFI Alchemy Doc, Rick and Mark are a topnotch crew. They are in the long and drawn out process of getting my goat running the way it should while at the same time trying to get all the shop stuff together. I have to hand it to them you got one hell of a group of guys that are putting in more hours then you have in a day in, and at the same time not letting customer service slip in the slightest. You cant go wrong with that.

One of the few times I can honestly say you far exceeded what I expected and heard. Hope you grow and prosper!
I'll see you again with H/C in tow.
