Western Members - Bakersfield June 6th Friday Night Test n Tune

The track at Bakersfield has been having a Friday Night Test N Tune every couple of fridays this summer and theres one coming up on June 6. Gates open at 6pm and last time they let us run til almost midnight. This has to be one of the best tracks in Ca. They do an exceptional job at prepping the track and all of my friends have hit their best times there. I got a couple of buddies going so i just wanted to invite everyone else who would also be interested. Let me know if your going!

I'm definitely gonna try and make it out there soon. Gonna have to beef up my 10 bolt first, so it doesn't shatter like the glass piece of shit it is.

I will be going this Friday also. Need to get some times on my FRC. I agree with it being one of the best prepped tracks. I went to Sac raceway and it was like racing on marbles.

They never check driver licenses. This is an off road track, ran privately. As long as you pass tech, you should be ok. Don't forget a Snell 2000 or newer helmet.

I am going my buddy and I along with a few other friends will be running a nova and chevelle, nova runs 9's on motor chevelle runs 8's on drag radials.

The chevelle is maroon, the nova has O/C 14 on the windshield and is primer yellow one in this photo. Here is a photo of the nova, say hi if you see us - Chris /Ragen

that track is awesome

this best thing to do is to trailer ur car just in case it hooks to good, and leave LA like at 2pm so u can get there like at 4 430 or so, eat relax and get ready to run at 6pm

but i hear the track has been getting crowded lately on the TnT days

I miss Famoso. I am moving back to San Diego in December, so maybe next spring I can make it up there for a T&T.

I just got back from the track, our nova went 9.60's on motor, our friend paul let his daughter run his drag radial chevelle and she went 9.40's and one of Tom's guys came out from Arizona and went 6.56@219. It was pretty fun, and pretty damn hot.

Track prep was pretty good. Think I broke something in the rear because it is whining like a beoch!

Who all went and how did you do? I didn't meet anyone there from here. I saw a few 4th gens, blue one that said R&E racing, westside white camaro with a blower, a red camaro with a mini tub size tire and that's about it.

My cousin went in his nearly stock red z28. Just had a lid/exhaust. He was the one with no hood (long story) and those big 315's on the back. He ran high 13's but that was with me in the car and a bad clutch. My buddies also were there in a white z28 with an SS hood/spoiler and chrome zr1's, he ran a 12.9, and my other friend took his 98 z28 with the stock 16's and ran low 13's

I remember a red camaro with tinted windows and a tire around the 315 range, where were you parked we were on the very end of the isle about 3 rows from the gate back, white truck and enclosed trailer with the primer nova, O/C 14.
