Need help bad drive shaft and rear problems
These videos are old but doing the same thing very drove on it yet do to engine swap
just put a 9inch in a 91 with a 6 speed.
the driveshaft is about 1 inch too short but still goes in the tranny about 1 to 1 1/4 inches I plain on getting a 1inch longer yoke and put my good drive shaft in but want to fix problem first
I have an adjustable panhard and messed with it didnt help
solid rear control arms
tunnel mount torque arm no adjustment on it (jegs)
I raised and lowered the rear with a jack because i have lowering springs and was checking to see if the pinion angle was off but it did it in all postions
I switched to an other stock drivshaft every thing was smooth but after turning it with the motor it did the sound all the time even by hand
only thing that seemed to help was when i loosened the rear u joint bolts
but could not put power to it of course since it was not tight hardly at all
need any help i can get
can the wrong lenght drive shaft cause this or is it something else?
every thing in the third member is brand new never even put the tire on the ground yet The axles are used can one be bent?
I am going to try some lca lowering brackets see if that helps.
Has anyone heard anything like this before?
could it be the pinion angle some how?
anything will help i am ready to off myself been trying to fix this problem for a while.
this one is under power hard to hear
