Do you need to pass NHRA tech in order to make "fun runs" at Topeka stop?

If it is sanctioned, which Topeka is, Make sure you have pants, shoes, (MAYBE a jacket if your car is fast enough) and a Helmet.

I am sure they will have the regular tech crew there.

Yeah, but one time the "fun runs" meant that I race the car in shorts and flip flops and no helment? I guess I'll bring the stuff in case I get an ich:nod:

BTW anyway who made passes in KS, did you even need a helment to run? We did not get there until later with all the rain in the am and I was ready for a few beers by the time we got there and never made it to the track.

They didn't seem to care a whole helluva lot, you didn't have to have a helmet, but they did make me take my luggage off the roof.
