Default Valve springs

Can I just upgrade the valve springs, retainers, rods, and rockers. Without having to replace the LS1 Heads? Would the Ls1 heads flow sufficiant enough for running 10lbs of boosst?

And I am going to replace the Cam to while I m in there. What would be a good size Blower cam?

TIA
Mike

alotta people r running stock heads... i think lunati makes a 222/230-.533/.544-114, would work with LS6 springs... if u go bigger on lift, get comp 918's...

So I can use my stock LS1 Heads. and just change the springs and retainers. when I change the cam.

comp makes a 218/224-.527/.534-114, i don't know how big of a cam u wanna go for... with a blower, i'd stay with more exhaust duration, especially since ur running stock heads, and keep the lsa at 114 or 115... check the sponsors over there--> and see what they have/recommend for blower motors...

ok, I was looking at some of the sponsors. ANd I can't really figure out what I need to do.

Cause were I sit now, I bought a LS6 oil pump, gaskets, LS6 T-chain, and Int & Ext valve stem seals.

Now I have to find a good price on springs and retainers, cam etc.

I call a certain part dealer, and they told me they had a package which comes with Comp springs (not sure what kind, but specified for my car), Titanium retainers, and Cromaly pushrods for $400 and if I add some comp lifters, add $200
and a cam would be about $400

But would I need to change the lifters too? I have 45K miles.

TIA again
Mike.

Allen Futral of FMS has a good blower cam I think its called the FM9 but the specs are 224/230 .571/.591 114/114 not positive on the lift but the rest im sure of. Use this with the crane spring package from thunder racing and moly pushrods from Allen It will cost u about 850 bucks but its realy low maintnence, the springs are dual springs good to .650 lift and come with titanium retainers and new spring seats.
