Default is a window switch needed with a standard?

A buddy of mine has a 2001 GT M5 with a 100 shot and he doesnt think he should run a window switch I say he does....... Opinions?

Window switches are NEVER a bad idea in my opnion.

As prone as the 4.6 2v motors are to low rpm backfires I would not run a kit without one.

Tell that dummy that if he likes his motor intact, then run a switch, standard for all kits/cars.

thats what I thought, today I have to go with the same dude to see whats up with his car. Leaking oil and the oil smells like gas...........

Stick car no way I would run without it.

Personally I don't have one on my car, but with a converter that stalls to 5000 on motor the liklyhood of any type of low rpm engagment is pretty much impossible. T

I wouldn't spray a 35hp shot without a window switch

IMO they are a necessity.
